How do I use the caller ID spoofing service?

SpoofTel is easy to use! Once you have signed up and purchased minutes, you can use your SpoofTel account to start making calls either over the internet or via our 888 toll free number.

When you log into your account and click on the "MAKE A CALL" button, you will be presented with six text boxes, one check box, one drop down menu and two buttons:

(1) Select the country you are calling FROM:
(2) Enter phone number you are calling FROM:
(3) Select the country you are calling TO:
(4) Enter the phone number you are calling TO:
(5) Enter ANY number you want to show NUMBER:
(6) Enter ANY call display name you want to show NAME:
(7) Check the box if you want your call recorded.

(9) Review Call
(10) Make a Call

1: This is your country of residence or the country you are calling from. This can be either a land line or cellular network.

2: This is the telephone number you are calling from. This can be either your cellular or land line telephone. You must enter an area code and phone number with or without dashes. When you hit "Make Call" this number will ring. When you answer your phone, the call goes through (the destination number will begin to ring as if you placed the call from your phone like normal).

3: This is the country of your target or destination number of the person you want to call. This can be either a land line or cellular network.

4: This is the telephone number of the person you want to speak to. This can be a cellular phone or land line. You must enter in an area code and phone number with or without dashes.

5: This is the Caller ID box. In this box you can place any numbers from 0-15. This is what the recipient will see on their Call Display before they pick up the phone. You can have up to 15 numbers in this box. Some examples are "1234567890," "5551112222," or "555."

6: This is the Caller ID name field. You can enter in any name with a combination of letters and numbers, comma's and underscores. This feature only works for callers who have the capability of viewing Caller ID names, and those whose telco does not use an internal database in which to look up the names.

7: If selected, this will record the call made. You can download your recordings from the "View Account" menu when logged in. Audio recordings are kept for 30 days and then deleted from the system.

8: This is the voice changing menu. Voice changing allows you to alter your voice in real time when calling through SpoofTel and is a fun way to use the system. You have two options to choose from (Male) or (Female) voice. This will either increase (Female) or decrease (Male) your pitch for that call. You can also change the pitch during the call by pressing "8" or "9" during the call.

9: The "Review Call" button allows you to see the details of your call without actually making a call. You can review the per rate charge, whether you have call recording checked off or voice changing applied.

10: "Make a Call" starts the call based on the information you provided up top. The details of your call will be displayed on the next screen.

Once you have filled in your country code (1), telephone number (2), target country code (3), target number you want to call (4) and the number you want to show up on call display (5) Click the "Make a Call" button (10) to start.

SpoofTel will first call the telephone number in the (2) box. Once you hear the telephone ring, pick up. When SpoofTel detects you have picked up the line, SpoofTel will call the number you placed in "TO" box (4). SpoofTel bridges the calls together and you can then speak to your intended party.



How do I use the Short Message Service(SMS) spoofing service?

SMS Spoofing is fun and easy. You can SMS up to 150 characters per SMS with no sending limits!

When you log into your account and click on the "SEND AN SMS" button, you will be presented with 5 text boxes and 1 button(SEND SMS);

(1) Country code you want to SMS:
(2) Enter number you want to SMS TO:
(3) Enter Name you want displayed FROM:
(4) Set time delay
(5) Enter your Text Message here (MAX 150 Characters):
(6) "Send SMS" Button

1: Select the country of your target's (destination) GSM phone.

2: This is the phone number you want to send an SMS message to. Please enter just the phone number with the country code selected from the drop down. For example;
"6045551111" to SMS North America (Vancouver)

3: Enter the phone number you want the SMS message to appear from (1 - 11 digits long). Ten digits is recommended as some carriers reject phone numbers that are under ten digits.

4: Time delay the SMS message. Click on the calendar icon to select the date and time you would like the SMS sent. The server is set to GMT time so you must convert your local time zone to GMT.

5: The text message you enter in can have up to 150 characters, letters numbers and some characters such as ! or @.

** Please note that certain carriers may overwrite the SMS "FROM" field to a generic number. This issue mainly occurs in the US only and is out of our control. We do populate the SMS "FROM" field but it is ignored by the carriers.

6: Once you have entered in all the data, click on "Send SMS" to have your SMS sent.



What types of numbers can I use to spoof caller ID and SMS?

FOR CALLER ID SPOOFING: SpoofTel allows you to enter in any number from 0 - 15 digits long for caller ID spoofing. However, certain telephone carriers are more restrictive than others when placing calls into their network and may override your intended caller ID to display "Unavailable" or "Out of Area". When this happens, try to use a number which appears more realistic. For example, if you are having trouble spoofing "123456," try "5551234567". If this does not work, try to use the carrier's area code with the spoofed number like this; "6041234567".

It is recommended that you do a test call to see if your telephone carrier will accept the number you wish to display. If you are having troubles getting the number to display, please e-mail techsupport@spooftel.com and include the area code you are calling from and the area code you would like to call with the spoofed number you are trying to use.

FOR SMS MESSAGE SPOOFING: Numbers that are used as the "SENDER ID" may be up to 15 characters long. The use of special characters such as " and ' are not allowed and will be stripped from outgoing SMS messages. You cannot send SPACES in the SMS name as the providers will strip anything after the first space for a name.

To enter in a phone number to SMS you will need to include the country (destination of call), area code and phone number. You will be charged for the SMS if it is successfully delivered to the recipient. You can send an SMS to almost any GSM compatible phone worldwide. What is your coverage area?

For Caller ID Spoofing we currently only support calls to the continental US and Canada. While international calls are allowed for verified users, spoofing the caller ID is not reliable. The following area codes are not available to be called through SpoofTel's system at this time:

Including the above numbers, certain area codes must be authorized before activation. The following numbers can be called through SpoofTel, however, you must contact admin@spooftel.com before you can start placing calls.

How do I Spoof Email?

Email spoofing is fun and easy. Simply enter in your target's email address, subject of the message, body of the message, the name you want to display and email address to display. The email will be sent without disclosing your name. You can make the email sender appear as anyone you like and the recipient will only be able to trace it back to Spooftel, never your real address.

How do I schedule a call?

To schedule a call for a later time, begin by logging in to your account. Once logged in, select "Schedule a Call" from the menu on the left hand side.

When you log into your account and click on the "SCHEDULE A CALL" button, you will be presented with six text boxes, one check box, one drop down menu and two buttons:

(1) Choose the date and time for when you would like your call to be placed
(2) Select your country of residence, or the country that you are calling from
(3) Enter the phone number you are calling from including area code
(4) Select the country of your target/destination number (the country that you are calling TO)
(5) Enter the phone number you are calling TO
(6) Enter ANY number you want to show (0-15 digits)
(7) Enter ANY call display name you want to show
(8) Check the box if you want your call recorded (the recorded call will be sent to the email on your account)
(9) Voice Changing Options (choose whether you would like to change your voice for this call)
(10) Schedule Call Time
(11) List of scheduled calls

1: Choose the date and time you want your call to be made at. Must be sent in the following format: "DD MMM YYYY HH:MM:SS"

2: This is the country of your originating phone number (the country you are calling from). This can be either a land line or cellular network.

3: This is the telephone number you are calling from. This can be either your cellular or land line telephone. You must enter in an area code and phone number with or without dashes.

4: This is the country of the person you want to call (the country you are calling to). This can be either a land line or cellular network.

5: This is the telephone number of the person you want to speak to. This can be any cellular or land line in North America. You must enter in area code and phone number with or without dashes.

6: This is the Caller ID box. In this box, you can place any number from 0-15 digits. This is what the recipient will see on their call display before they pick up the phone. You can have up to 15 digits in this box. Some examples are "123456789," "5551112222," or "000"

7: This is the Caller ID name field. You can enter in any name with a combination of letters and numbers, comma's and underscores. This feature only works for callers who have the capability of viewing Caller ID names, and those whose telco does not use an internal database in which to look up the names.

This will either increase (Female) or decrease (Male) your pitch for that call. You can also change the pitch during the call by pressing "8" (for lower pitch) or "9" (for higher pitch).

10: The "Schedule Call Time" button is used to lock in the settings provided above and schedule a call. Click this to schedule your call for the time and date specified above in option (1)

11: This is a list of your scheduled calls. You can delete your scheduled calls by clicking on the "Delete" button once you have selected the scheduled call you would like removed. You will be refunded the amount paid for the scheduled call at this time.

Once you have filled in your country (2), telephone number (3), target country (4), target number you want to call (5), the number you want to show up on call display (6), and the name you want to show up on call display (7), click the "Schedule Call Time" button (10) to schedule your call. Make sure you set the correct time in PST format.

At the date and time you specify, SpoofTel will first call the telephone number in the (3) box. Once you hear the telephone ring, answer this call. When SpoofTel detects that you have picked up the line, SpoofTel will call the number you placed in "TO" box (5). SpoofTel bridges the calls together and you can then speak to your intended party.



Do you have a toll free line I can call to spoof caller ID?

Yes, we offer US and Canadian customers a toll free line to use at no additional charge.

We also offer a United Kingdom toll free line at an additional per minute rate. UK customers are not charged this extra cost if using the web interface.



Is this service available to everyone?

Yes. This service is available to the public. We offer two different kinds of packages depending on your call volume. Retail customers can purchase minutes at a rate of .10c per minute in the US or Canada. The minimum amount you can purchase is $10, and the maximum is $40. Commercial customers can receive rates as low as .085c per minute to the US and Canada, allowed multiple channels per account and larger purchase amounts. Commercial clients are also eligible for billing on a bi-weekly basis. Certain conditions apply.

How do I purchase minutes?

Purchasing minutes is quick and easy. To begin, sign up an account with SpoofTel. There are no monthly fees, maintenance fees, or other costs of having a SpoofTel account. You only pay a per minute rate each time you make a call (SMS and email spoofing have separate costs which are shown on the "Rates" page of this website).

Once you are logged in to your account, click on "PURCHASE" from the main menu on the left hand side.

If your transaction is approved, the funds will be added to your account instantly. If you have a credit card or bank account in which you would like to pay from, you may choose to pay through PayPal. SpoofTel also accepts checks and money orders sent to paste address here.

Click on the "VIEW ACCOUNT" button in the main menu at any time to see how many credits you have available.

SpoofTel never knows what your credit card number is, or stores them in any way on our system. SpoofTel uses the latest in encryption technology and digital certificates to communicate with the world's largest and most trusted credit card processing companies on the internet.

Purchases can be made in $10, $20, $30 and $40 dollar amounts. When emailing regarding PayPal payments, please include your username and e-mail address as a reference.

Why can I not call certain Toll free numbers?

Unfortunately, due to the possibility of fraud, the ability to call certain toll free numbers has been restricted.

In order to be able to call toll free numbers, you will need to e-mail admin@spooftel.com and provide your username, e-mail address, your verification phone number and the toll free number you would like to call.

SpoofTel reserves the right to refuse service to anyone using SpoofTel's systems for fraudulent purposes. Please contact admin@spooftel.com if you have any questions.



Can I get a record of calls I have made?

SpoofTel can provide a list of calls made up until the last time you refilled your account under "View Account". When your account is refilled, all call detail records are deleted and any calls that were made up until the time of refill will no longer be available.
